Description
With an Alder firewood in a 2 cubic meter crate, there should be a pack up to the brim with neat stacking, making sure it uses up all space.
Alder is a soft hardwood that does well when burning:
efficient and has an appealing aroma while burning.
Quite often, alder is used as firewood in fireplaces due to relatively low moisture in its seasoned stage, which generally lights up easily and burns with even heat.
To calculate how much firewood would go into a 2m³ crate, the actual volume depends upon how the wood is cut and stacked.
If the pieces are cut into standard firewood lengths, such as 30-40 cm logs, then the crate would hold a fair amount of logs that would burn quite well in a stove or open fire.
